Munshi Mohammad Sumon currently serving as Assistant Professor (Deputation), at the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology in Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University, Dhaka-1207, Bangladesh. He completed his Bachelor of Science in Agriculture (Hons.) from Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University in the year 2016. He was awarded prestigious academic deans’ award for securing CGPA above 3.91 out of 4.0 in consecutive 8 semesters. He also completed Master of Science in Biochemistry from the same university with CGPA 4.00 out of 4.00, in the year 2020. He had conducted his masters’ thesis research work at the Laboratory of Biochemistry on Oilseed crop (Sunflower) with the fellowship provided by the Ministry of National Science and Technology (NST). Now he is doing PhD at Christian-Albrechts-Universität zu Kiel, Germany funded by Bangladesh Science and Technology Fellowship Trust. Being an academician of a renowned public agricultural university of the country he envisions serving the nation through promoting Agriculture in multifarious manners. Creating quality agricultural graduates through teaching and motivation is his prime duty of concern. Mr. Munshi Mohammad Sumon believes that their graduates will lead the nation to feed food for the next folds of decades. Also, he has a passion to carry out quality researches in agriculture and Biochemistry through innovation and dissemination of new technologies to the farmer’s door. His personal research interest is in Nutrition, Oilseed crops, Oil Quality, and the Fatty acid profile of the oil. Sumon always looks forward to handling every situation of life with provable positive attitudes.
