I am Farhana Afrin Vabna, currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Biotechnology at Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University (SAU), Dhaka, Bangladesh from 1st July 2019 to till now. I started my service as a lecturer in the same Department from 1st July 2019 and I left on June 30, 2021. I am awarded with most prestigious 'Deans Award' from SAU for my outstanding performance, which included a CGPA of 3.96 and 'National Science and Technology fellowship' from Ministry of Science and Technology. My research focuses on Molecular biotechnology, Plant DNA fingerprinting and sequencing, Plant genetic engineering, Recent advances in agricultural biotechnology; including Genomics and Genome Editing, Plant tissue culture and Bioinformatics.
