Dr. Md. Asaduzzaman Khan is a highly experienced professor in the Department of Soil Science at Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University, Bangladesh, with over 30 years of teaching and research expertise. He has earned a Ph.D. in Soil Science from Bangladesh Agricultural University and completed a Postdoctoral fellowship at Rothamsted Research, UK. His teaching career includes mentoring undergraduate, master's, and Ph.D. students in various soil science disciplines, focusing on soil fertility, nutrient management, and environmental sustainability. He has supervised numerous postgraduate students and played a crucial role in curriculum development, academic quality assurance, and university administration. Additionally, he has served as an academic auditor for the Bangladesh Accreditation Council and held administrative positions such as Director of Research and Chairman of the Department of Soil Science.

Dr. Khan’s research is centered on soil fertility management, heavy metal contamination, and sustainable agriculture. He has conducted extensive research on arsenic movement in soil-water-plant systems and has published widely in renowned national and international journals, including Plant and Soil, Environmental Science & Technology, and Communications in Soil Science and Plant Analysis. His contributions to the field have been recognized with leadership roles in multiple government and donor-funded research projects. He has attended and presented at international conferences, particularly focusing on soil contamination and sustainable land use. His work in soil science and environmental sustainability continues to influence both academic research and practical agricultural applications in Bangladesh and beyond.
