This is Dr. Md. Mosharaf Hossain, presently working as an Associate Professor, Department of Anatomy, Histology and Physiology, Faculty of Animal Science and Veterinary Medicine of Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University, Dhaka, Bangladesh. I have completed my graduation in DVM (Doctor of Veterinary Medicine) in 2005 and MS in Physiology in 2008 from the faculty of Veterinary Science of Bangladesh Agricultural University, Mymensingh . Then I have completed my Ph.D. in Physiology under the Faculty of Pharmacy of Meijo University, Nagoya, Japan funded by Meijo Asian Research Institute, Japan. The title of my MS and Ph.D theses were-“Investigation of diseases in food animals at Bengal meat abattoir” and Study on the Role of PlexinA1 in the Midline Crossing of Callosal Axons during the Early Phase of Corpus Callosum Development in BALB/cAJ Mice respectively.

Notable I have experienced on hematology, histopathology, biochemical analysis and data analysis. I have also theoretical and working knowledge on cell biology and neurophysiology. In my research I have performed diagnosis of different diseases through ante-mortem, post-mortem inspection, histopathology and immunohistochemical study, Western blot analysis and immunofluorescence analyses. I have also published some research papers in different international and national journal. Just after completion of my MS degree I joined as a quality assurance executive in a world standard ISO certified meat processing company named as Bengal Meat processing Industries limited where I performed ante-mortem, post-mortem examination of different food animals, diagnosed different diseases and isolation and identification of meat borne pathogen. After that I joined as an assistant manager in a world standard pharmaceutical company named advance chemical industries limited (ACI) where I performed pathogenicity test and in-vitro antibiotic sensitivity tests. In addition I have gathered some knowledge on PCR, RT-PCR, western blot analysis, hematology, preparation of tissue culture and propagation of viruses on tissue culture, preparation of vaccines, some serological tests, immune-histochemistry and cell Physiology. Since april, 2012 I have been working as an Faculty at the Department of Anatomy, Histology and Physiology Under the Faculty of Animal Science and Veterinary Medicine of Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University of Dhaka, Bangladesh.
