Tahmina Sikder is currently working as an "Assistant Professor" at the department of Pathology, Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University (SAU), Dhaka, Bangladesh. Previously, she has been appointed as a "Lecturer" in December 27, 2018 and joined at the department of Pathology under the Faculty of Animal Science and Veterinary Medicine. Earlier, Sikder has completed her professional degree of BSc. Vet.Sci. & A.H. in 2016 from Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University (SAU), Dhaka and secured the second (2nd) position in the class with CGPA of 3.92 (out of 4.00). Sikder has also completed her MS (Master of Science) in Pathology (Veterinary) under the department of Pathology. As a beginner, Sikder has the vision to develop a bright career in the academia that would be internationally recognized in the future. 

Research interest: Food safety and public health, pathology of infectious diseases, molecular virology (Avian influenza virus type A, FMDV, PPR) and microbiology.
