Mofasser Rahman is presently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Agribusiness and Marketing at Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University in Dhaka, Bangladesh. He holds a Master of Science degree in Agribusiness Management from the Asian Institute of Technology in Thailand, where he was awarded the prestigious Bangabandhu Science and Technology Fellowship and achieved an Excellent grade for his dissertation. In addition, he has obtained a Master of Business Administration degree in Marketing and a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Agribusiness from Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University, excelling as the top student in both programs. For his outstanding academic achievements, he has received multiple accolades, including the Dean's Award in 2011, 2012, and 2014, as well as the esteemed Prime Minister Gold Medal in 2015. Over the course of more than two and a half years, Mr. Rahman has held Research Assistant positions at various organizations, such as the Asian Institute of Technology Extension in Thailand, FABLAB at Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University, and the International Rice Research Institute in Dhaka, Bangladesh. Driven by a strong passion for research, he focuses on a diverse range of areas, including Agribusiness Management, Agribusiness Economics, Agricultural Economics, Agricultural Marketing and Trade, Climate Change Adaptation, Agricultural Sustainability, Development Economics, Sustainability in Value Chain, Innovation Adoption, Climate-Smart Agriculture, and Impact Evaluation. His expertise and contributions to the field are evident through the publication of his research work in reputable journals. Mr. Rahman actively engages in teaching and usually instructs undergraduate courses such as Agribusiness Management, Principles of Marketing, Small and Medium Enterprise Development, and Agricultural Marketing. By incorporating his research insights and practical experiences, he cultivates a dynamic learning environment for his students.
