Tahrima Haque Beg is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Agricultural Finance and Management at Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University, Bangladesh, where she works at the intersection of finance, risk, and social impact. She was an Associate Investigator (AI) in the Special Research Grant project titled “Investigation of Market Price of Live Broiler and Chicks in Bangladesh,” funded by the Ministry of Science & Technology (MoST). She also worked as an “Account Department Specialist” under the HEQEP sub-project “Improvement of Teaching–Learning Quality at Undergraduate and Postgraduate Level in the Faculty of Animal Science & Veterinary Medicine,” funded by the World Bank and overseen by the University Grants Commission of Bangladesh. She has successfully led several self-financed research projects, and her scholarly interests include risk management, international financial management, corporate finance, stock brokerage markets, financial crises, the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on international financial derivatives markets, profitability analysis, women’s empowerment, and capital markets. Her work has been cited by prominent authors, reflecting both its intellectual depth and practical relevance. She has published research articles through the Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University Research System (SAURES), consistently striving to connect academic insight with meaningful, impact-driven financial decision-making. Her teaching focuses on financial and managerial accounting, microfinance management, bank management, and agricultural risk management. She was appointed as a Master’s supervisor on 11 September 2024 and has also served as Acting Chairman of the Department of Agricultural Finance and Management. In addition, she serves as a volunteer reviewer for reputable research journals and is deeply committed to inspiring students to use research as a tool for societal transformation. She has presented at multiple national and international conferences; most recently, her research abstract was presented as a speaker contribution at the prestigious 8th International Conference on Entrepreneurship for Sustainability & Impact (ESI) 2025, sponsored by Qatar University and held at the InterContinental Doha Beach & Spa.
