DR. Most. Aklima Khatun is a Lecturer in the Department of Microbiology and Parasitology at Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University. DR. Khatun specializes in Parasite Biology, Tropical Parasitic Diseases, and Zoonoses. In addition to this, she is very passionate about fostering an inclusive and engaging classroom environment where students are encouraged to think critically and apply their knowledge to real-world problems. Moreover, she is actively involved in research, where her research interests focus on Emerging and Re-emerging Parasitic Diseases, Genomics and Proteomics of Parasites, One Health Approach in Parasitology. DR. Khatun is also committed to mentoring and guiding students through academic and professional development. Outside of the classroom, DR. Most. Aklima Khatun is an avid reader with a deep passion for literature. She believes that reading is not only a great way to unwind but also an essential tool for broadening perspectives and deepening one's understanding of the world.
