Mostafijur Rahman is a Lecturer in the Department of Agricultural Engineering under the Faculty of Agriculture at Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University, Dhaka, Bangladesh. He obtained a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Engineering (B.Sc Agril. Engg) with Major in Irrigation and Water Management, and subsequently Masters of Science in Irrigation and Water Management from Sylhet Agricultural University (SAU), securing the First position in both the cases in order of departmental merit list. Mostafijur Rahman got NST Fellowship 2019-20 MSc/MS Agriculture by Ministry of Science and Technology for M.S. research work in low cost smart renewable energy based Irrigation solution. Previously he worked with several government and non-government research organization and also with private sector to enhance agricultural mobility to smart and sustainable agriculture. His research interest mainly focused on remote sensing (GIS), AI-based agriculture, agrometeorology, groundwater variability, sediment transportation, environmental impact analysis, soil-water-plant interaction, environmental economics, renewable energy and so on. Mostafijur has published several research papers in national and international peer-reviewed journals.
