The Agribusiness and Marketing Department started its journey in 2006 under the Faculty of Agribusiness Management. Being a pioneer in Agribusiness and practical-oriented education gives our graduates a competitive advantage in the job market. The department always emphasizes two things, one is research, and the other is the practical implication of the study. Along with courses of BBA in Agribusiness and BSc. in Agricultural Economics, the department is offering MBA in Marketing and MS in Agribusiness and Marketing in its Post Graduate study programs. The mission of this department is to create leaders who will lead public, private, NGOs, and international organizations for the agribusiness development in Bangladesh.
In 1938, Sher-e-Bangla A.K. Fazlul Huq envisioned a new era of agricultural education to empower students with knowledge and innovation for sustainable farming. This vision gave birth to Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University, a center of excellence in agricultural development.
